Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 August 2026 · Pome for iOS and Android is made by Nsonia LLC.
The short version: Pome has no servers, no accounts, no ads, and no
analytics. We never see your messages, your name, or your face — there is no
server for them to reach. Everything below follows from that.
What stays on your device
- Your name and avatar (chosen or generated in the app)
- Your message history, rooms, and sticker tray
- App settings, including the language filter and block list
Uninstalling the app deletes all of it. There is no copy anywhere else.
What travels between phones
- What you post. Messages, stickers, reactions, game moves, and your
name and avatar travel by local radio (Bluetooth and local Wi-Fi) directly
to phones in range, and phones running Pome relay them to reach the rest
of the room. They never pass through a server — ours or anyone's.
- Who can see it. Anything you post in the lobby or an open room is
visible to the people around you running Pome, the same as speaking up in
a room. Direct messages are delivered to the person you send them to.
- Presence. Nearby copies of Pome can tell your device is present —
that's what makes the lobby work.
What we don't do
- No accounts, and no way to make one
- No analytics or crash-reporting SDKs
- No advertising, advertising identifiers, or ad networks
- No location collection — Pome doesn't know where you are
- No message collection — we couldn't read your chats if we wanted to; they never reach us
About the permissions
- Bluetooth and Local Network are how phones find and talk to each
other. That's the whole app.
- Camera is used only when you scan a room-invite QR code or make an
avatar from a photo. Photos stay on your device.
- Internet (Android). The permission is declared by a framework the
app is built on. Pome sends nothing to any server — there isn't one.
- Location (older Android versions). Before Android 12, the system
requires the Location permission for an app to scan for Bluetooth devices.
Pome uses it only for that scan and never reads your position.
- Notifications tell you about messages and games when the app is in
the background. They're generated on your device.

your IP address in order to answer, like any website. No analytics run here.
